new gate !!!!!!!!

Saturday my youngest son went out and got fence supplies to fix my fence and started fixing my gate..but the termites were a bit too aggressive so he built a whole new gate. My oldest son showed up with his family for vacation for the week while the youngest was building it ... and helped............I just LOVE useful sons !!!!!!!! I am so thankful for the new gate !!!!!!!!!

Today I did a couple sessions at the temple....it is totally wrapped in scaffolding right now..even Moroni....plus some sections are tarped in green and blue...
This afternoon my "Chino friend "Linda came to visit my little house !! She is my daughter in law's mom and was bringing her here and stayed and visited for a while ...so fun !!! Thanks Linda !!! I have been working on a quilt..still am...

new wierd art and my fan !!!

Eddie and Sandy came over yesterday...he was SO kind and took down the fan and replaced it with the one I brought from my old house...I love it and it is a GREAT fan !!!

June art project 2010

I spent the whole day doing an art project...actually a family tree project....who knows why..but I enjoyed it and may put it on a wall tomorrow...it is big...31"x36".............what I do for fun !!!???

I found paint Houston

This morning at 5 a.m. I took dadu to the airport to fly to Maryland for the week. I went to the temple. I got the 7,9,and 11 sessions...then I was HUNGRY. I came home and found paint in the garage for the bathrooms..I painted over where the old towel racks and such were that I took off..you couldn't see the patches really pre-solatube..now you see EVERYTHING. I finally painted the top of the cabinet I moved into the bathroom from the kitchen..It had molding along the top in the kitchen..but not where it is now...I am working a bit on an art project..but I haven't quite figured out what I want to do yet...a family tree project with my scrabble collection. Havein fun here.

home again, home again

We had a great weekend in Orem Utah. Our 12th Grandson was blessed, and a nice party catered by the baby's momma followed. We got to talk with my brother and sister and their families !!!!!!!!! ..We got to spend three days with kids and grandkids and it was enjoyable !! We couldn't sleep so we gave up around 2:30 a.m. and headed home. Dadu flies out for D.C. early tomorrow morning for work....havin a great time !!!

Memorial day

We had fun yesterday. !! We left the house somewhere between 7 and 8 a.m. and drove to Chino..we went to Winco and stocked up on some cans and bulk stuff we use alot of..then we went to 3 of our favorite thrift stores we have been missing...alot...then we visited a couple of old neighbors, a family from our old ward [I was her visiting teacher for 23 years..and her house cleaner]..then visited an old guy in that ward whose house I cleaned and dadu home taught...then we went to my mother's house in Whittier and took her out to dinner, and picked boysenberries to take home. We left there about 7 p.m. and stopped by my brother's house and the way home ...but nobody was there...we got home about 9:30 maybe...I and A were already home. It was fun.
