So..Doctors can cancel appointments at the last minutes with no problem..but not us "normal" people...what is up with that ?? I could have had great plans for today..at the Newport Beach Temple or the L.A. Temple ....but they didn't call in enough time for that..since I have activity day girls today and then a stake meeting !! Okay..I will stop griping now...!! Sheesh...
I did have a little fun today putting $14.20 worth of old stamps that were just sitting around on a package to mail !!! The lady was amused and all she said was.. so did you decide to quit collecting stamps ? They covered the whole available front of the box , with a few lapping over the side!!!

sewing ? !!!

Wow..today in between playing with M. I was a actually able to sew a blessing dress and cape for my upcoming grandaughter !! Sandy gave us the pattern because it looks like something A. would love her baby to have !! My sewing machine started turning white thread black.. nice grey butttonholes on the back of the dress !! .I cleaned the bobbin case and it worked fine for about a minute before it did it again...so don't look too close...all the cape seams are grey and black...then, I got out my older Bernina[ a friend gave me ]and put on the trim with the same white thread ...but , oh, it is white !!

We went to church and then we came home for a quiet afternoon. Easter egg hunt in the backyard for the grandkids. S and A and kids went to visit Great Grandma W. Then Great Grandma M came over for dinner and we all sat down for ham and mashed potaoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, and (Oh, Lonely) peas, and Great Grandma's rolls and salad. Two kinds of ice cream and pie for dessert. Yum!!! Missed all the rest of the family though. Here are some photos of our day.
