Halloween /chili cookoff

Lisa used to live in our ward and I was her visiting teacher...I enjoy her.  She has moved to Oceanside.  She invited us to her ward's Halloween chili cook off...Our ward is not doing anything fun...This is us at the party tonight...I had the BEST white chili EVER !  Some of my favorite little costumes..cookie monster, cowboys and bumblebee and about 10 year old old lady.... and the sunset with the ocean as we left to take Lisa home...

snow/rain cover

I made a snow/rain shield for the double jogging stroller we picked up at a yard sale for Abby...not perfect..but useful when she has to walk M. to school...with A. and H. in tow...

long, low bench/table

We needed chairs in the room and something for the blankets to get thrown on besides the floor.  I got this for $28.00 at a thrift store in Poway...I opened both back windows in the car and the ends rested on the rubber window guides nicely to get it home !  The room in long but not wide enough for chairs, so, this was perfect for our needs !..the shelf underneath is a great bonus for blankets or whatever !..and it is real furniture with a laminate framed top. [ I am taking photos from the closet.]
