lunch and stores
Today I went out to lunch with a friend ...{for making a Woody vest for her son.} We had lunch at Nordstrom Cafe and then went to a fabric store in Vista and a fancy fabric store in Salona Beach..looking for fabric to cover her dining chairs and a couch...I was gone from 11:00 to 4:00 with her...I didn't get anything done since before I left I was on the computer chatting with my elder brother....but hey, fun day !

Oh I am so proud of you Mom!! Way to hang out with a girl friend and go out to lunch (and shop!!) That's what you're "supposed" to do (when you aren't busy sewing for your darling children and grandchildren). Love you!!
I think She was talking about food ... was going to get something to eat ... but remembered the lunch date. Thought maybe a small snack of yoghurt. Then she talked about I should get dressed up hoity-toity. I certainly couldn't relate to that. I live in a little cabin in the woods with a pond and cow pasture out back. I don't think people consider cargo jeans as hoity-toity. Not even cargo shorts and sandals qualify ... :-p
yeah Freth I am sure your kilt wouldn't work either.
