Memorial Day

Today we went shopping and found dadu some Father's Day gifts...a new computer roller bag, a pair of pants,pirate alien, magic cards..[.? I forget.]  We went to Home Town Buffet with a 2 for 1 coupon for lunch for our holiday barbecue ..we did eat barbecue spareribs as part of it !....We had Elders over for dinner..we had pork chops, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, vegetable platter and cherry pie.  Then, they fixed dad's yard sale bicycle so now we don't have to haul it to Utah for J. to fix !!  Whoo hoo !!

visitors are good

It was so nice to have Isaac and Amy come visit.  They came Friday night and left this morning after we left  for  church.  Amy's sister Shannon's wedding was yesterday about 20 miles from here.  They brought  us a HUGE vegetable platter after the wedding...We started working on it for lunch today.  Thanks Isaac and Amy for the visit and the Vegetable platter.  It was fun talking with you and seeing all the photos !!

Mothers Day 2012

My new- to- me  patio furniture,  "for always" stamped heart from dadu, solar panel flower..gently moving in the light, my set of home made cards, dadu's new wheel barrow from the same yard sale as the patio furniture...[the family is moving to Costa Rica to get away from rules...]  Thanks everyone and thanks for the phone calls....I love you all....

different 4th of July vacation

Dear  family of ours....we are doing something different this year.  I just booked a hotel for dad and I in Rapid City South Dakota for three nights July 2nd thru 5th.  We are going to Mt Rushmore and the Black Hills !!  We go through Salt Lake to get there so some of you will still  see us coming and going but we will miss the Hot Air Balloons if they do them on the 4th of July.  Just want you to feel informed...mama loves you !
