different 4th of July vacation
Dear family of ours....we are doing something different this year. I just booked a hotel for dad and I in Rapid City South Dakota for three nights July 2nd thru 5th. We are going to Mt Rushmore and the Black Hills !! We go through Salt Lake to get there so some of you will still see us coming and going but we will miss the Hot Air Balloons if they do them on the 4th of July. Just want you to feel informed...mama loves you !

ohhhhh how exciting! I'm glad that you get to have a vacation for you with no purpose but to have fun and enjoy being together:) I wish I were going there too but times and seasons and vans that work properly--Enjoy!!!
FUN!!! Don't forget to take your camera and take pictures! Sounds like a good 4th of July adventure to me! I'll get balloon pictures for you (if we decide to walk down to Provo, which we might. Maybe Uncle Greg will let us camp in his backyard the night before!)
