Today we started at about a quarter to 8 and spent the morning going through the precinct lists we had been given, hanging reminders to Vote and Vote Yes on Proposition 8. The lists were prepared from telephone calls that identified those who are in favor of Prop 8. These unfortunately were not in 'delivery' order, So we had to back track several times, and there are still two gated apartment complexes we were not able to enter. We finished this at about 11:30 am. Today was also the band review at Chino High School and so streets were blocked and this was the area we were working. That took most of the morning. Then we came home, ate something quick (leftovers), and then headed off to The Shoppes in Chino Hills for a Yes on 8 Rally. There were about 500 of us covering all of the street corners. Signs waving, chanting Yes on 8, Protect Marriage Now, etc. Cars and trucks driving by, honking their horns. Our legs are tired, our ears are sore, we're a little dehydrated, and had too much exhaust fumes but we spent an hour and a half waving signs and chanting. Got home at about 3:00 pm. Someone had stolen our Yes on 8 sign from the front yard. So we planted the one Mom was waving at the rally. Still have chores to do. Stake Conference meeting tonight at 7:00 pm. We are feeling our age (but I could still deliver mail if that was my job). Only pictures are on Mom's cell phone and she doesn't know how to get them out.

Eddie and I were out at 6:30 a.m. doing the door hanging thingy. We only had 117 thingy's to hang and so we did what they gave us and that was it!
I don't know if it's just our ward, our stake our what, but it could've been organized a little bit better! I know our ward organizer has been working very hard on this....I think our ward is just the last on the trickle down list!
We'll see what happens Tuesday!
