saturday is a special day...

Today dadu worked in the yard for three hours...I spent three hours cleaning in a house of a ward family that are moving today back to Arizona...lost the job here...then I visited an open house of my sunbeam assistant who has a pre-school out of her garage..very nice..looks alot like my grandson's preschool.. then we shuffled things around in our garage...put the TV with DVD and VCR built- in ,in the fireplace to live and the bigger TV up in the cabinet place {it was living in the garage}..then ordered vacuum replacement things online.....just stuff....great breeze today..blowing stuff around and activating hay fever allergies...havin a swell time !!

Do NOT get old and fall apart !!! I have 12 new stitches on my left temple ..........cut out that latest basel cell carcinoma spot !! I got to have an MRI and MRA today...something new !!! Did I tell you about my carotid arteries ultrasound?? ...interesting..The echo cardiogram was REALLY interesting !!! I get the boring old average mammogram this week too !! The pulsatile tinnitus is alive and well booming away in my head !! You can tell I am getting old when all I have to talk about is health stuff...........I am finishing up two- 4 inch squares -pieced quilts for grandaughters though...I had a GREAT time helping at a wedding luncheon at the stake center last week with 3 other women from our ward...and cutting up fruits and veggies for the reception with 2 other women the night before that..........bye for now !!!

wild animal park

Yesterday morning a couple of my friends took me to the Wild Animal Park which is about 5 miles from my house. It is more like a zoo now..but well kept !!

Nathan..movie star...

Tonight for our date we made it back to Old Town to the Mormon Battalion Historical Center...AWESOME....... It is extremely interactive..very different and very fun ..I Highly recommend it to anyone !!! Nathan is Clearly visible several times in the films..It is not sitting in a theatre type thing...it is done in 3 totally different 3D rooms on different screens set into the landscape...and I got gold panning for gold..and there is a look out tower with binoculars..and porch rocking chairs..and computer interactive things.. You are going to love it..and Nathan did awesome acting !!!!!!!!!!!

Rainy Sunday.........we just had a little family over for dinner..with their year old son...we had baked potatoes, individual meatloaf, mixed vegetables and choc. chunk cookies.
Today dad was made ward clerk..and they moved the other sunbeam teacher to nursery. I have all the sunbeams now..but I have the other teacher's assistant...It should work out fine.
We just found out I. and A. should be living with us for the summer starting may 11th..He got an internship about 1 1/2 miles away from our house here.! It will be fun ! Goodbye sewing room/office of mine again ! We are now forced to re grout our shower before then so we can use it...we haven't yet !!
Always something interesting going on..we have been here 4 months on Tuesday..and we are doing pretty well fitting in...at least we fake it well...we are WWAAYYYY out of our comfort zone..but hey, it is MUCH more interesting this way !!

brave

We got brave and Saturday night had a couple over to play games and eat snacks...they brought fancy popcorn and I ran out in a heavy rainstorm for a Marie Calender pie before the Feb. sale was over....I did that just before they came over...pecan pie ! Thanks for the gift card N and A! They were here 2 and 1/2 hours ! We played waterworks and road rivers and rails.

Oh, Dadu gets to be ward clerk now...we met another member of the stake presidency yesterday in our home.

Today is our youngest daughter's birthday ...Happy birthday dear !!
