OKAY...I have my first installment of family in this house...My eldest daughter and sons are here..tomorrow I get installment 2..my eldest son and family..Friday I get the other 3 and family's...oh, yes..and dadu comes home tomorrow too. Dadu's mom's funeral is Saturday..we also have family photos scheduled at a park in Chino Hills for 9 a.m. and a baby blessing for my eldest daughter's new son after the luncheon at 3 p.m...........there will be 23 of us in this 1364 square food house....one last time before it is sold and gone to us...wow... you've gotta love the lord's timing !!!

Dadu's mom passed away this morning...a real blessing..she has been going to dialysis for years ,had black and blue arms constantly from collapsing veins ,was all bloated from congestive heart failure, had a broken leg, was loopy and hurt all over and has lived in bed for years now. No quality of life there !! The funeral is Saturday..so dadu will be back for that.
The kids get one last HURRAH in their growing up home before it is sold.........they are all coming for the funeral I believe!! LIFE...always an adventure !!! She was the most awesome mother in law ever !! She was very supportive and easy to get along with !! She never criticized us or how we did or did not do things !! Really !

DU DU DU DU.............today dadu goes to San Diego..after we go visit his mom in the rehab center.....yesterday the inspector had to invent things wrong... pretty much..like..you have to grout around the toilet..NOT...or the sectional pipes above the water heater..oh, you need to earthquake bolt those, say what ?...I do agree we need a new wheel on the shower door so it slides better..but that is the kind of nothing he found....the buyers and their realtor were even here for that..so dadu and I left and our realtor called after it was done...sheesh.

Well...our counter offer people came to the house to measure if their double wide fridge would fit..yes....that little cabinet moves right out....They brought their feng shui person...I guess we passed because they got the 32 pages of signed paperwork back to the realtor today to send to Cartus ..our relocation people. Next we get an inspector and a termite inspector then escrow.. Hurry up and wait ,and pay through the nose. this is quite the game.

We thought we had accepted an offer but realtors keep calling and saying Mary said they could come look at our house...and Peter [the realtor we thought we countered to ] wants to bring his clients to measure...[as in will things fit ? or any excuse to bail out or ???] We are so confused ! This is dadu's last week here....then we are separated...Homestead for him Chino for me. Life...so tricky ! Today I got to substitute in the nursery..it was a nice change !

Surprise !!!

We started the day as WC at the 7 a.m. session at the Redlands T....the BEST place on earth...then we went to the happiest place on earth ...with dadu's free birthday pass we only had to pay through the teeth for me !!..............I forgot to take photos of us eating birthday ice cream at Gibson girls place for A.'s memories !!! Here are some photos we did remember to take !...and quite a surprise while we were at the alien store !!! We had no clue !!! It's a small world after all !!!

So, I have been reading paperwork...I do believe we get reimbursed for closing costs and termite inspection. We got a second offer today, so I am sitting on two right now...my realtor says.."take your time" We have not countered yet..I need to talk to the relocation consultant in the morning...if they do pay closing, I will counter a higher selling price in exchange for paying all the closing {up to 10% of the selling price }...we need all we can get as a selling price to try to move out prop 13 tax base via prop 60 pr 90...I can't remember which right now...to our new home...we can't buy for more than we sell for to do that, and prices are higher down there ! very interesting game .

We got our first offer on the house...They want to pay $280 thousand and us pay$ 8400 in closing costs plus termite tent plus a years major problems insurance.......NOT........The Realtor says to take my time...they really want to be out here and this is the size house they need...and she thinks more offers may come in soon.....oh, ya, I don't like the 45 day escrow part they want either..Dadu is out of town..but I can't seem to concentrate to actually do anything these days of realtor roller coaster..!!.plus I have to keep it clean...sheesh. Tomorrow I get the Century 21 Realtor caravan coming through in the morning ...they get to critique the place....AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. Other than that life is good !

I spent 3 hours this morning cleaning an old guys house..then took dadu to City of Industry to get the staff car so he could abandon me for a few days..............then I got to spend 4 hours in a dentist chair playing the root canal and 2 crowns fitting game...that Must mean I am a major Queen !!..really now..2 crowns at once !!
I feel better now that I have griped..thanks...I'll go take some more penicillin and some more 800 mg. Motrin !!

Another looky loo today.............since we have taken out all the personality it really doesn't seem much like my house..so people walking through it doesn't seem to bother me...today I was on the computer and stayed on it...my realtor said to go outside when they are inside and go inside if they are outside..but I suppose it doesn't matter much..the freeway turned off today's prospect...yesterday the female was very visibly high maintenance and this would never do...though he liked it.
This morning dadu took in all the left over paints, chemicals,insecticides...muriatic acid...etc. to the toxic waste place in Chino...at least the ones we have found so far...Then I took the recycle stuff in and got $26.83........of course that included a radiator and water pump J. left here....then, laundry of course..and a few yard sales I came upon..tiny granddaughter clothes are so cute and cheap at them..tonight we have a stake conference meeting at 7.

Today I painted the pink room off white...[more paint found in the garage]...because I got to thinking...what if some one looks at the house and only has boys !!! Tonite we signed disclosures and agent papers...tomorrow is the big day to start the selling process !!!....with Century 21 beach side realtors...Mary Hughes...next Wed. I get the realtor caravan bus stopping by between 10 and 12 for show and tell....we list at $295,000...we'll see what happens !! The lock box is going on the water pipe out front....she said..let them all use it because it registers who and what time..only realtors in good standing are allowed access to it.
Life as we knew it is going to change family !!!!
A.,dadu has you way beat on the number of banker boxes full of books !! But then he has a few years on you !!
It is not cooling down tonite...we are going to melt in the 100's this week end again...WE ARE HAVING FUN NOW !!!

Well, this morning the realtor we chose called me and we set up tomorrow night to start the official process of putting the house on the market. Both realtors told our relocation company that we had to improve curbside appeal and paint the bedrooms neutral. Yesterday I worked on flower beds in the front and today I painted the green room with kilz and then with the rest of the white paint we painted the outside with....I also painted the burgundy baseboards in the pink room...kilz and white. Dadu has been watering alot out front..but it is still 100 degrees so what do you do ?...it is the wrong time of year to put anything but water on the grass !! FUN TIMES!!

This is my cute eldest daughter's family I was helping last week.

I got a surprise package from my brother-in-law and sister-in-law.......from fed ex while I was there...it was delicious !! He may want pushy me out of his life and in San Diego but he still likes me !!


I had a great week...severely sleep deprived as usual with a bit more help on the deprived..but it was fun !! L.'s preschool is awesome..excellent teachers...grandmas !!!! D is a thinker...he projects ahead for reactions he wants..at the grand old age of 1 1/2. R . is a sweet tiny newborn !!! My daughter had her 3rd c-section and they are taking their toll on her body !! My son-in-law is a great guy !! I had fun !! Dadu stayed home and worked while I flew away !!
